HPBS was involved at the concept stage and accompanied the construction of the shopping center in order to ensure international BREEAM certification and achieve high resource efficiency, comfort and environmental friendliness, including:
Optimization of the loads and energy consumption costs of the shopping center, due to engineering and architectural solutions, has been carried out. Electricity and heat costs were reduced from 170 million to 100 million rubles per year.
An assessment of thermal comfort was carried out in public areas, thanks to which smart ventilation control using CO2 sensors and covering the atriums with athermal glasses were installed in the shopping center, which provide uniform natural lighting and prevent the sun’s rays from overheating the interior spaces.
A Very Good building certification strategy has been developed and implemented according to the BREEAM system.
