The Scientific and Technical Center of PJSC “TMK”, LEED Gold

 

Project description:

The Scientific and Technical Center of PJSC TMK on the territory of the Skolkovo Innovation Center. The building area is 15,000 sq. m. The building consists of a test area for industrial samples, laboratories and office space. The project was developed by a talented team of the Russian architectural bureau “ABD architects”

 

Our role:            

Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the LEED Core & Shell in the design and construction process, including:

• development of a LEED Gold certification strategy
• conducting workshops with the project team in order to develop an energy efficiency strategy
• using an integrated approach in the implementation of green technologies
• passing LEED expertise in the USA
• acceptance of engineering systems in accordance with ASHRAE Guidelines

 

Key achievements:

At the moment, the STC project of PJSC TMK has received the LEED Gold certification level (Gold Certificate). The project used an integrated approach, which made it possible to reach the LEED Gold level without serious additional costs, but at the expense of balanced solutions conceived at the conceptual stage.
